Monique Russ - President
I was born in Washington, and I have spent my whole life in this beautiful place. I live on a small farm out in the country where I raise beef cows, hogs, and chickens. I have discovered that I love to garden, and now I grow a wide variety of vegetables and fruit each year. Horses are my passion in life though, and when I'm not working or busy on the farm I am out trail riding in the Cascade Mountains.
I have been in accounting for 11 years, and I have held various titles such as Payroll Manager to Property Accountant. While working full time I earned my accounting degree from Bellevue College, and I graduated with honors. I have also earned several accounting and bookkeeping certificates in addition to my degree, and I am currently working towards becoming a Nationally Certified Bookkeeper, and an IRS Enrolled Agent. I am an active member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers, Phi Theta Kappa Alumni, and the Sky Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Benjamin "Ben" Russ - Manager
Prior to starting Accountable Bookkeeping Company I worked as a Staff Accountant. I was primarily responsible for account reconciliations and property tax analysis and payment. Prior to being a Staff Accountant I was an Accounts Payable Manger for eight years. I was responsible for all aspects pertaining to accounts payable including treasury management, reconciliations, and vendor communications. I have also been preparing taxes for over fifteen years, and I am currently working on becoming an IRS Enrolled Agent.
